This is really two movies in one-- the first and primary about Isabel, played by Ana de Armas, who speaks only her native Spanish in this film. She is a woman undone, the result of a horrific subway attack, her mind invaded by supernatural visions as a way to cope with what she clearly wants to suppress; the second concerns Detective Galban, played by Keanu Reeves, who is investigating the death of his fellow detective.

These two characters, Isabel and Detective Galban, hardly ever cross paths, and the film as a whole is definitely on the strange side. But I am an easy grader, as long as the director/writer and the actors involved are making a sincere effort, which they definitely do here, so . . . a 6 out of 10 from me.
