故事恰巧发生在21世纪末，体育赛事中的外援已经突破人类范围，全面引入机器人运动员。主人公所在的贫穷棒球社，苦于经费不足，从来都没有引进过一名机器人运动员，虽然有规则规定——在一方没有机器人参加比赛的情况下，对方也不得派机器人上场比赛，但是由于实力不济，长时期维持屡战屡败的战绩。　而此时，队中主力之一碍于升学压力补习繁忙推出了棒球社。无奈之下，棒球社不得不在下赛季赛事开始前补充成员。在友人的资助下，棒球社终于有购买机器人的经费了。只是这点微薄的经费远远不足以购买先进的运动型机器人。最后，令人吃惊的是，加入棒球社的成员是一个二手充电型女仆机器人。　这个中古机器人的名字就叫“梓”。梓，为了帮助大家，永远是竭尽全力的。

The Karugamo High School Baseball Team has not been doing well. After losing badly to the Eagles, many of the players leave, and the team now has only eight players, one too few to play a game. Going against his principles, the main character Harumaki Shunpei decides to buy a baseball robot. However, since he does not have enough money, he ends up buying the maid robot named Azusa. Even though Azusa has a warm heart and strong determination, it doesn't appear that she stands a chance against her adversaries who were top-of-the-line baseball robots. The team's only hope seems to lie in a secret buried within Azusa's clouded past.

L'équipe de baseball du lycée Kaguramo n'est pas au mieux de sa forme. Après leur dernière défaites face à l'équipe Eagles, beaucoup de membres partirent, réduisant le nombre de joueurs à huit. C'est alors que Harumaki Shunpei décide d'acheter un robot de baseball. Seulement, par manque d'argent, il finit par acheter un robot de servante nommée Azusa. Malheureusement, elle ne pourra jamais remplacer un robot de baseball et se rendre utile à l'équipe. Cependant, il semble qu'Asuza cache un lourd secret qui pourrait bien faire pencher la balance...
