特蕾莎（米娜•唐德 Mina Tander 饰）和艾利克斯（沃坦•威尔克•莫林 Wotan Wilke Möhring 饰）结婚已经十五年之久了。两人之间原先的激情已经被时间消磨的一干二净。特蕾莎是一名心理医生，但她无法解开深藏在丈夫内心里的锁链。艾利克斯是一名足球教练，尽管他在绿茵场上意气风发，但面对感情里的矛盾却软弱无力。

The relationship of Alex and Teresa has hit hard times. After 15 years of marriage, the passionate football coach and the sensitive psychoanalyst do not respect each other's needs anymore, and thus they are arguing constantly. Even a divorce seems possible, but then something unbelievable happens: After another ugly fight during a big thunderstorm, they switch bodies. Trapped, they have to play each other's roles, and chaos is bound to follow.

Die Ehe verändert sagt man so. Bei Alex und seiner Frau Teresa ist das allerdings tatsächlich so. Nach mehr als 15 Jahren im ehernen Bund haben sich die beiden so auseinandergelebt, dass der eine mit dem anderen nichts mehr anfangen kann. Eines Abends bricht zwischen dem Fußballtrainer und der Psychologin mal wieder ein heftiger Streit aus. Am nächsten Tag geschieht das Unglaubliche: Die beiden befinden sich im Körper des jeweils anderen...

Celých 15 rokov fungovalo manželstvo Alexa a Teresy perfektne, vychovali spolu dcéru, a to aj napriek tomu, že sú v skutočnosti úplne odlišní. On zavesil futbalové kopačky na klinec a stal sa trénerom, ona si otvorila prax ako psychoterapeutka. Ale tým akoby sa studňa otrávila: začali sa prudko hádať pre každú maličkosť. Počas nočnej búrky sa však stane niečo neuveriteľné: keď udrie blesk, Alex a Teresa si navzájom vymenia svoje telá. Len teraz sa začína skutočný chaos.
