Discuss The Man Who Invented Christmas

It was simply nice to see a story within a story most of us know. No outrageous digital effects, good story, with good acting. Can't ask for too much more.

Yeah, it was good. I'm confused by the low rating. I didn't think it was great, but we haven't had a great christmas movie in a long time either.

At least on IMDB it rates a 7.2; not bad.

The tortured process of "making something out of whole cloth/nothing" looks as involved as "hearing the music" as it is written in "Amadeus." If our "storytellers by the fire" didn't have imagination and a bit of back story for characters, there would only be "Constable Copperfield" and no "Dorothy Gale.";)

Nicely done. Well expressed and well written. I had to watch the trailer just to remember what it was you were talking about. I remember liking the story, but your interpretation in what I can only say you putting into words about this movie is profound.

It was okay but full of inaccuracies.

I turned it off at about the 20 minute mark. Bored me to tears. I suppose I could give it another try?

It was great. Thanks for bringing it up here. I especially liked the part when Tiny Tim and Bob Cratchet had that awesome battle with Iron Man and the Pink Power Ranger. Wait what movie did I see. Too much egg nog. Seriously people don't be a Scrooge and see this film. You have seen all the other Christmas classics every year. This can be a new one. God bless us everyone! 🎄🎄🎄😃🎄
