If you are talking about this https://www.hulu.com/hub/originals, I don't think that it's relevant to Palmer movie.

Thematically, there's Straight Time (1978) starring Dustin Hoffman and Gary Busey... Hoffman plays an ex-burglar out of prison who's trying to live like a "square" in it... he has to put up with a fierce parole officer IIRC, and he ultimately makes some tough choices....
