Resumen |
Désespérés de voir leur église grandir, le pasteur John (Robert Amaya) et sa femme Betsy (Erin Bethea) font l'impensable et changent le spectacle de Noël de leur église. Mary Margaret (Sallie Wanchisn), la directrice de chœur âgée et sidérée, conduit la chorale au boycott. Face à la résiliation, le pasteur John recourt à se déguiser en vieil homme pour combler le fossé des générations, gagner Marie et ramener la chorale à l'église. Lorsqu'il découvre que les blessures sont plus profondes qu'il ne le soupçonnait au départ, le pasteur John doit apprendre à aimer ceux qui ne sont pas aimables ou risquer la ruine de son église et de sa famille. |

Resumen |
In een poging om de kerk voller te krijgen, pakken pastor John en zijn vrouw Betsy de kerstdienst dit jaar eens anders aan. Maar daar is de oude, enigszins vastgeroeste koordirigente Mary Margaret, die ook nog eens zijn stiefmoeder is, het absoluut niet mee eens. Zij krijgt het koor zover om kerst te boycotten. Pastor John is bang dat hij moet aftreden, dus er zit er niets anders op: hij gaat undercover als een oude man om de generatiekloof te overbruggen, Mary over te halen en het koor weer terug te krijgen naar de kerk. Maar de kerstdienst blijkt niet het enige probleem… |

Resumen |
Desperate to see their church grow, Pastor John (Robert Amaya) and wife Betsy (Erin Bethea) do the unthinkable and change their church Christmas pageant. Flabbergasted, elderly choir director Mary Margaret (Sallie Wanchisn) leads the choir to boycott. Facing termination, Pastor John resorts to disguising himself as an old man to bridge the generation gap, win over Mary, and lead the choir back to the church. When he discovers that the wounds run deeper than he first suspected, Pastor John must learn to love the unlovable or risk the ruin of his church and family. |
