This is a fairly typical disillusioned Seal agent doing one last job for the CIA. Of course the CIA betray their agents on a regular basis - and have unlimited funds at the disposal of a woman who is hell bent on revenge. There do not seem to be any psych evals in the CIA. Said Seal is betrayed by a "brother" whose life he saved and is thrown under a bus by the aforesaid woman. It is all very predictable and if you don't ask questions - I suppose entertaining enough. One wonders why - when it is observed "you've got to love a CIA kill site" do they go to that kill site - why not just drive past it? There is a ridiculous shoot out where the two Seals who are left are outnumbered on a field and a shoot out ensues - the black Seal - knowing he is low on ammunition (?) nevertheless starts walking out in the open devoid of cover into the arms of the enemy. This ridiculous scene is followed by an even stupider one as he somehow makes it to the vicinity of the villain and the villain - after making the Seal throw down his weapons which were empty anyway so what the point of that was only he knows) throws down his own weapon and says "lets do this the old fashioned way" he pulls out a knife - as does the Seal - and when the villain loses his knife - the Seal throws down his - the villain promptly shoots him with a concealed weapon !! If anything it was funny - and very reminiscent of Indiana Jones. One gets tired of all these betrayed soldier plots - it's a wonder anybody joins any agency if that is the way they behave.

I was able to follow the plot of the movie up to that point - it's afterwards where it starts getting murky for me.

As far as I understand it the remaining Seal decided to proceed on his own - I think he intended to kill the terrorist and use the warhead to buy his way back home. I think he was really nasty when he didn't respond to the wounded woman's plea of "did you kill him". She was using him to get her revenge for her father's death - but still - it was pretty nasty.
