Discuss The Hummingbird Project

It's really hard to sympathize with a white collar criminal. Here we have a "hero" who colludes with another employee to cheat on their employer but gets beaten to the punch by their former boss, and we're supposed to feel anything for this guy? When I saw him carrying that chainsaw up the hill to cut down his bosses legal microwave tower, I was done with that guy.

The only thing in the story, which was a contrived attempt at that, that makes a viewer sympathetic, was his stomach cancer. Without that disease, all we have is a twerp who could have shared in the short-lived glory of the high speed fibre optic tech, but instead decided to try and do it himself.

Utter garbage.
