How was it that Annie was able to crawl all over the walls and also on the ceiling of the attic drop-down door? And her headless corpse floated to the tree house in the end? Who moved the other body from the attic to the tree-house or did that float away too?
Why did the burning of the book also burn Steve when it was Annie that was catching fire the 1st time? What changed?
Anyone?

It was more like Paimon controlling the situation. Annie thought that by burning the book she would sacrifice herself but instead Steve burned. For me it felt like Paimon showing Annie that there's no way out and he's indestructible. When Annie was screaming watching Steve burn there's like a light that goes into her. So the whole time she was chasing Peter, crawling and all that crazy stuff she was possessed by Paimon.
I'm guessing Paimon's responsible for all those moving of bodies with the help of cult members esp the leader Joan.
