While the film did include men and spouses in the subject matter, at times this film took on a "women's issue" vibe (for instance when all the congressional visits were to female representatives). While I understand that some procedures are explicitly women's issues, I think advocates do a disservice to themselves by not intentionally including half the world's population in order to perpetuate an unnecessary divide. Ultimately what needs to come is change, and that will require all of us, or at least most of us, and excluding potential advocates seems to work against the end goal.
