Oudejaarsavond 2004 - Kevin Healy en Tiffany Matthews gaan op pad om het nieuwe jaar en een nieuw begin in hun zevenjarige relatie te vieren. Midden in de viering besluit het jonge stel de gelegenheid te vieren door te experimenteren met Crystal Meth. Zonder dat ze het wisten, stopt Randy Martin, LSD in hun drankjes, waardoor een nacht vol levensveranderende gebeurtenissen in gang wordt gezet, waarbij de een doodgaat en de ander voor altijd littekens achterlaat. Het jonge stel verlaat het feest en begint al snel te beseffen dat ze niet alleen zijn, althans dat denken ze. Na een auto-ongeluk rennen de twee het bos in om aan hun stalker te ontsnappen, zonder bescherming tegen de elementen. Pogingen om hulp in te roepen zijn zinloos als ze beseffen dat het signaal van hun mobiele telefoon wegvalt. Alleen in het bos, met de waanzin achtervolgd te worden, begint het stel zich langzaam tegen elkaar te keren.

New Years Eve, 2004- Kevin Healy(Santos) and Tiffany Matthews(McCoy) head out to celebrate the New Year and a new beginning in their 7-year relationship. In the midst of the celebration the young couple decide to mark the occasion by experimenting with Crystal Meth. Unbeknown to them, town bad boy Randy Martin slips LSD in their drinks, setting into motion a night of life altering events which will leave one dead and the other forever scarred. The young couple leave the party and quickly begin to realize that they are not alone, or so they think. After a car accident the two run into the woods to escape their stalker, with no protection from the elements. Attempts to call for help are futile when they realize that their cell phone signal is lost. Alone in the woods with the delusions of being chased the couple slowly begin to turn on each other.

Invités chez un ami pour le réveillon de la Saint-Sylvestre, Kevin et Tiffany, s'essayent au LSD. Suite à un petit incident, fachés, ils finissent par quitter la fête prématurément. Sur le chemin du retour, ils ont la sensation d'être suivis par un inconnu. Kevin, effrayé, quitte la route et accidente la voiture. Effrayé et frigorifié, le jeune couple s'aventure alors dans les bois, le tueur à leurs trousses. Heureusement, ils ont un téléphone portable...
