Extra Details: The current backdrop image is really overwhelming and not a good depictor for the film itself. It's just a really zoomed in picture of E.T.'s face and given the size restraints, just doesn't look good for the current display.

Since none of the top voted backdrop fit your description, I'm assuming it was an issue with Letterboxd. Next time, please report the issue on their website. We have no control over the backdrops they hand-picked.
