Timothy Bartlett (Norman Wisdom) is een bankier van middelbare leeftijd die naar een badplaats wordt gestuurd voor een bankiersconventie. Hij vreest dat de vergaderingen verschrikkelijk saai zullen zijn, maar de zaken veranderen wanneer twee amoureuze hippiemeisjes Timothy meenemen voor een zeiltocht op de zee van de liefde. Timothy wordt gek en maakt een spektakel van zichzelf in hippiekleding terwijl hij probeert in de swingende scene te passen. Naakte duikjes in de oceaan worden gevolgd en voorafgegaan door wilde feesten terwijl hij de dagen van zijn vlammende jeugd probeert te herbeleven. Nadat hij wroeging en schaamte voelt over zijn gedrag, roept hij zijn vrouw op om met hem mee te gaan naar de conventie om hun liefde nieuw leven in te blazen in deze low-brow-komedie. De Britse rockgroep The Pretty Things verzorgt de muziek.

Timothy Bartlett (Norman Wisdom) is a middle-aged banker who is sent to a seaside resort for a banker's convention. He fears the meetings will be frightfully dull, but things change when two amorous hippie girls take Timothy for a sail on the sea of love. Timothy goes middle-aged crazy, making a spectacle of himself in hippie clothes as he tries to fit into the swinging scene. Nude dips in the ocean are followed and preceded by wild parties as he tries to recapture the days of his flaming youth. After he feels remorse and embarrassment over his behavior, he calls on his wife to join him at the convention to rekindle their love in this lowbrow comedy. The British rock group The Pretty Things provides the music.
