I thought the movie was so-so, although I really liked the segment with the dogs. But over-all this movie isn't just feminist, its female centric which is kind of an outlier for the 80s. The female characters play a range of characters from helpless dummies to fully self-actualized, while the male characters are few and pretty simplistic.

It was also fun to see Pamela Adlon in her early 20s before her voice got husky. Is it weird that I think she's sexier now?
