Discuss Tyrannosaur

Mullen does well within his somewhat typecast role, Coleman is excellent. However, everything is dialled up to 11 and is frankly a bit absurd. You can't expect to achieve gritty, true to life portrayals when you throw the kitchen sink at the plot like this.

I believe this is based on a book so maybe flexibility wasn't an option, but there was potential for this to be quite special if it had limited the protagonists to simply being very unhappy and a little unhinged rather than having 20 years worth of crime stories happen within a 1 week period to just two people. By the end if the titular beast had appeared I probably wouldn't have bat an eyelid given some of the other events.
