It's the spring of 1944 and Therese is in a hurry to get back to Paris. The trains aren't running from the village where she has gone to visit her father's grave and to fill two suitcases with food. Some British and American planes have been shot down and the Germans want to know where the pilots are hiding. An acquaintance has clearance to drive to Paris with a truckload of goats. After she is in the truck Therese discovers that two British pilots and an American pilot are back there with the goats. She must get the men on a train to Paris and to a safe house there, where there is no room for the American. Can she leave him at the Metro station trying to figure out the map?

Sous l'Occupation, la rencontre fortuite d'un pilote américain, Allen Morley, tombé en France et de Thérèse Dutheil, dont le mari est prisonnier en Allemagne. Malgré elle, Thérèse l'accompagnera à Toulouse, pour lui éviter de se faire arrêter par la Gestapo. Au fil de cette poursuite, un amour naitra entre eux. Mais ils seront séparés par la Résistance, qui "brutalement" fera passer Allen en Espagne afin qu'il puisse rallier son unité en Angleterre. Après un bref adieu déchirant, la nouvelle du Débarquement sera annoncée à la radio. Que leur réservera l'avenir, une fois la guerre achevée?

Primavera de 1944. Después de visitar la tumba de su padre, Teresa necesita volver urgentemente a París, pero los trenes no pueden salir del pueblo porque algunos aviones estadounidenses y británicos han sido derribados y los alemanes están buscando a los pilotos. Decide entonces viajar con un conocido que lleva a París un camión lleno de cabras. Una vez dentro, descubre que entre los animales se esconden tres pilotos.
