Ha 28 anni, è una sciupafemmine e ha lasciato la Calabria, sua terra d’origine, per trasferirsi a Milano, dove vive con il suo coinquilino Alessandro (Claudio Colica). Mauro (Cristiano Caccamo) è il fratello di Sofia. Affidabile e amorevole, al contrario di Sofia con la quale è sempre in guerra, non ha lasciato la Calabria e porta avanti l’azienda di famiglia. Sofia e Mauro non sono solo sorella e fratello, hanno anche un’altra cosa in comune: Michela (Greta Ferro), primo e unico amore di Sofia, che però sta per sposare proprio Mauro. Quando Sofia si rende conto che sta per perdere la donna della sua vita, decide di tornare a casa, in Calabria.
