智商只有60的东球（崔佑赫 饰）是个烂漫纯真的11岁小孩，天生智障的他觉得世界上最开心的事情就是去学校念书，尽管也有点察觉自己和身边的同学不太一样，但能够呆在嘻哈热闹的伙伴中间，哪怕只能是看着他们自己当个局外人，或者去离教室挺远的地方给他们倒点水，东球也觉得是心满意足了。

智商只有60的東九純真樂天，擔任負責打水的「水班長」是他最光榮的差事。隨著東九長大，學校試圖說服父親真奎讓東九轉學到特殊學校，房東也處處暗示要兩人搬家。為了守護兒子的未來，真奎堅持不退讓，他鼓勵東九加入了棒球隊，盼望著下一次的揮棒，就能擊出夢想的安打...

Filling the cups of classmates with a kettle is the only work 11-year-old Dong-ku, who is mentally retarded, can do in his school life. However, even this small connection with the outside world breaks as one day a new water purifier replaces the kettle in his classroom. Disappointed badly by losing his only hope to survive in a regular school, he finds that every freshman in the junior baseball team is required to supply drinking water to other members with a kettle. Though knows nothing about baseball, Dong-ku decides to join the team while his father, Jin-kyu, is struggling to save his kid’s only shelter, their chicken bar.

Huh Dong-gu est un garçon simplet, élevé seul par son père veuf. Ce dernier se refuse à admettre la différence de son enfant et persiste à vouloir lui faire suivre des cours normaux de classe. En raison de son handicap mental, Dong-gu est dans l'incapacité de comprendre les cours et ne vit que pour chercher de l'eau à ses camarades. Sa vie devient un véritable drame le jour où est installé un distributeur d'eau dans la classe. Il intègre alors une équipe de base-ball pour devenir porteur d'eau et joueur remplaçant pas très débrouillard...
