I don't know why he had to kill all his coworkers.I've read a bunch of explanations but I feel that the story should have gone in another direction.I would have preferred this be a comedy for one.Also he would never have been able to survive as an invisible man,he would eventually have suffered brain damage and died.I don't understand how such a brilliant scientist wouldn't have figured that out.He should have kept working with them to make himself visible again.

Sebastian Caine was an arrogant, narcissistic person and the serum might have affected his brain. But, even if not, someone who is already that disturbed would jump at the opportunity to use his invisibilty to commit any act he wishes, knowing that he could do that without impunity.

It's kind of a shame, if he had gotten the cure to work he would be famous. I mean someone with an ego like his would jump at the opportunity to gain such adoration. It would have made the movie better and funnier if he ended up on tv being interviewed and ended up taking all the credit and leaving his coworkers behind.
