Pierre (Yvan Attal) has witnessed the murder, and heard the wails of the women crying for help. So have the neighbors, certainly. But at the end, nobody called the police. Nevertheless, sorrows are too heavy for Pierre, which feel the needs to tell everything to his wife (Sophie Quinton), and to the police. During the investigation, it appears that 38 people witnessed the murdering, and none reacted...

Alors qu'elle rentre d'un voyage professionnel en Chine, Louise découvre que sa rue a été le théâtre d'un crime. Aucun témoin, tout le monde dormait. Paraît-il. Pierre, son mari, travaillait. Il était en mer. Paraît-il… La police enquête, la presse aussi. Jusqu'à cette nuit où Louise rêve. Elle rêve que Pierre lui parle dans son sommeil. Qu'il lui parle longuement. Lui qui, d'habitude, parle si peu.

Di ritorno da un viaggio di lavoro in Cina, Louise scopre che la strada in cui vive è stata teatro di un crimine, avvenuto di notte. Poiché tutti dormivano, nessuno ha visto niente e non ci sono testimoni che possano aiutare le indagini della polizia o fornire indizi ai mass media che si sono interessati alla vicenda. Anche Pierre, il marito di Louise, non ha visto niente poiché quella sera si trovava fuori per lavoro. Una notte, però, Sophie sogna Pierre e Pierre nel sonno comincia a parlare molto più di quanto faccia nella realtà, raccontandole qualcosa di inatteso.
