Disaster Eyewitness is a TV program reviewing various disasters, produced by Raw Cut TV for Discovery Channel. It features footage recorded by mobile phones, CCTV cameras and digital cameras. The program interviews surivivors of the disasters, as well as the people who recorded the footage. Detailed computer graphics show exactly what caused the disasters. One recent disaster shown was the Enschede fireworks disaster in the eastern Dutch city of Enschede, which was caused by mishandling of 900 kg of fireworks, leading to another 177 tons of fireworks to explode. Another disaster shown was the US Airways Flight 1549, which crashed into the Hudson River after hitting a flock of Canada Geese

Wild Food is a documentary television series hosted by Ray Mears. The series airs on the BBC in United Kingdom, it is also shown on Discovery Channel in the United States, Canada, India, Italy, Brazil, New Zealand, Australia, Norway, Sweden, The Netherlands and Russia. The show was first broadcast with an episode set in Australia and ended with "Woodland". The theme tune is not unlike the one heard in World of Survival.

In Wild Food, Ray presents an informative guide to cookery, travelling across the world to demonstrate traditional cooking skills and cuisine.

Bounty Wars is an American reality television series on the Discovery Channel that debuted on July 8, 2012. Only one episode of the series aired, and has since been cancelled.

Lobster Wars, also known as Deadliest Catch: Lobstermen in the United Kingdom, is a documentary television series on the Discovery Channel. It documents men and one woman fishing for lobsters off the Georges Bank near the northeastern coast of North America. It first aired on August 23, 2007.

Like the similarly themed Deadliest Catch, Lobster Wars is produced by Original Productions for Discovery, and is based on a pilot miniseries also produced by Original Productions, Lobstermen: Jeopardy at Sea. Executive Producer Thom Beers narrates the show in the US whereas voice artist Bill Petrie narrates it in the UK. The show features six boats: The Dragon Lady, The Timothy Michael, The William Bowe, The Direction, The Rachel Leah and The Excalibur — a fishing trawler that causes high tensions between the other 5 boats.

Wreckreation Nation, a production of True Entertainment, is a travel/reality television show on the Discovery Channel, highlighting unusual recreational activities and amateur competitions across the United States. It is hosted by Dave Mordal.

The show debuted on January 6, 2009.

Wild Discovery was a television series that aired on the Discovery Channel between 1995 and 2002. It was an educational program in a documentary format showcasing animals as the main theme. The show featured a wide range of animals, in locations from around the world, including Brazil and the Serengeti.

Auto Trader was a British television series, first shown on the Discovery Channel. It was presented by Mike Brewer and Edd China, who have worked together on other TV series, including Wheeler Dealers.

Each episode was 30 minutes long.

The programme was set in the fictitious garage called Mike's Motors.

The format for each episode remains the same:

⁕Mike introduces a buyer who is interested in purchasing a certain type of car e.g.: small hatchback, luxury car etc. He has three or more cars on offer, and the buyer decides which ones he or she is most interested in, taking usually two for a test drive. Mike gives details of any potential problems with the cars. At the end of the episode, the buyer decides which car he has chosen to buy.

⁕Edd meets a seller who has been trying to sell their car for a number of weeks. There is usually a reason why the car hasn't sold and he works with the seller to repair and clean the vehicle, usually increasing the value of the car.

⁕Mike shows the viewer how to spot a lemon, working as a dodgy seller with a potential buyer, or meeting "reformed car clocker" Tony who shows Mike how to spot a clocked, cloned or stolen vehicle.

The series has been repeated on Discovery Turbo.

Iditarod: Toughest Race on Earth is a Discovery Channel reality television series about the 2008 Iditarod race from Anchorage, Alaska to Nome, Alaska.

The show follows and documents selected racers and their dogs during the 1,161 mile trek through Alaska's wilderness. Iditarod entrants pay $3,000 to enter the race and must have completed certain qualifying races beforehand. Expenses for the race can exceed $20,000 and mushers often seek sponsors to aide in paying for the race. Most mushers hold outside jobs in addition to racing.

During the course of the show it is shown how the logistics of running an Iditarod are handled. Supplies are gathered and then flown into each of the checkpoints usually just hours before the mushers arrive. Each musher is required to sign into each checkpoint and then decides if they are going to continue on or rest for several hours. Some mushers elect to take short stops, briefly feeding their dogs before continuing on the trail. Veterinarians perform constant examinations on the dogs at checkpoints throughout the race, and any injured or sick dogs are taken off of the team and then flown to Anchorage for proper care.

There are only three mandatory rest points during the race. One is a 24-hour rest, and two eight-hour rests. Apart from that, mushers usually try to feed their dogs at each checkpoint, even if it is just as snack, as the dogs can burn around 10,000 calories a day.

Firehouse USA: Boston was a 2005 TV series on Discovery Channel. The series followed Engine 37 & Ladder 26 stationed out of Huntington Ave, Boston, Mass. Narrator was Mikey Kelley, executive producer was Mark Kadin. The series premiered Sept 20th, 2005 and was canceled later that year. A likely reason Huntington Ave was chosen was due to it being regarded as one of the busiest firehouses in Boston.
