Crispin Hellion Glover (Nova York, 20 d'abril de 1964) és un actor de cinema, pintor, cineasta, escriptor, músic, col·leccionista d'objectes i arxivista d'esotèrica estatunidenc. És conegut per interpretar a George McFly en "Back to the Future" i Creepy Thin Man en l'adaptació d'"Els Àngels de Charlie". Al final dels anys 1980, Glover va crear la seva pròpia empresa editorial, convertida en els anys 1990 també en productora cinematogràfica, Volcanic Eruptions.

Crispin Hellion Glover (born April 20, 1964) is an American film actor, director and screenwriter, recording artist, publisher and author. Glover is known for portraying eccentric people on screen such as George McFly in Back to the Future, Layne in River's Edge, unfriendly recluse Rubin Farr in Rubin and Ed, the "Creepy Thin Man" in the big screen adaptation of Charlie's Angels and its sequel, Willard Stiles in the Willard remake, The Knave of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland, and as Phil in Hot Tub Time Machine.

In the late 1980s Glover started his company, Volcanic Eruptions, which issues his books and also serves as the production company of Glover's films, What Is It? and It is Fine. Everything is Fine! Glover tours with those films and plans to film more at the property he owns in the Czech Republic.

Crispin Glover, né le 20 avril 1964 à New York (État de New York), est un acteur, réalisateur, scénariste et producteur américain. Il est surtout connu pour avoir incarné George McFly dans le premier Retour vers le futur, rôle qu'il ne pourra reprendre dans les deux suites, car il réclamait 1 million de dollars pour ce faire, ce que la production refusa. Ironiquement, la production devra lui verser 760 000 Dollars à la suite d'un procès entre l'acteur et le studio, car ce dernier utilisait sans son accord des images de l'acteur extraite du premier film.

Il est également apparu sous les traits d'Andy Warhol dans le film The Doors d'Oliver Stone.

Il est le fils de l'acteur Bruce Glover (notamment connu pour son rôle de Mr. Wint dans Les Diamants sont éternels).

Der Blockbuster 3 Engel für Charlie gehört neben Zurück in die Zukunft und Alice im Wunderland zu seinen recht wenigen Ausflügen ins Mainstream-Kino. In den beiden Fortsetzungen von Zurück in die Zukunft spielte Glover nicht mehr mit, da er sich mit den Produzenten nicht über die Gage einigen konnte. Ansonsten konzentriert sich Crispin Glover vor allem auf kleine Nebenrollen oder Projekte im Independent-Bereich, arbeitet aber auch mit bekannten Regisseuren wie David Lynch, Jim Jarmusch, Robert Zemeckis und Tim Burton zusammen. Im Jahr 2012 hatte er einen Cameo-Auftritt im Film 7 Psychos in der Gerichtssaal-Szene. Außerdem schuf er als Regisseur und Drehbuchautor mit dem Film What Is It? ein recht eigenwilliges Filmdebüt, da die meisten Rollen in diesem surrealen Film von Menschen mit Down-Syndrom übernommen wurden.
