Biography

Brian Reece was an English film and radio actor.

To BBC radio audiences he was widely known for playing Police Constable Archibald Berkeley-Willoughby in over 100 episodes of PC 49 between 1947-53. He transferred the role to the feature film A Case for PC 49 in 1951.

The Stage recorded the cause of his death at the age of 48 in 1962 as being the result of a bone infection which had been ongoing for over 2 years. He died in hospital in Westminster, London.
