Santiago Cabrera (born 5 May 1978) is a Chilean actor who has worked mainly in the UK and United States. Cabrera is best known for his roles as the character Isaac Mendez in the NBC superhero drama Heroes, Lancelot in the BBC drama series Merlin, and Aramis in the BBC series The Musketeers. He was also the lead in the CBS drama Salvation as Darius Tanz, and played Captain Cristóbal "Cris" Rios in the Paramount+ series Star Trek: Picard.

Cabrera was born in Caracas, Venezuela, where his father, a Chilean diplomat, was stationed at the time. He is the middle child of three.[1] Moving along with his father's career, Santiago grew up mainly in England, but also in Romania, Toronto and Madrid.[2] His family returned to Chile when he was fifteen years old. He was captain of his football team in high school,[1] and only tried acting when his teachers encouraged him.[3] He trained at the Drama Centre London from 2000 to 2003.

Santiago Cabrera spielte 2006 eine Hauptrolle in dem Kinofilm Love and Other Disasters mit Brittany Murphy und war in Haven mit Orlando Bloom zu sehen.

2008 spielte er die Nebenrolle des Lancelot in der Fernsehserie Merlin – Die neuen Abenteuer; 2009 übernahm er die Rolle des Camilo Cienfuegos in Steven Soderberghs Che: Part One. Von 2014 bis 2016 war er als Aramis in der BBC-Serie Die Musketiere zu sehen. 2017 erhielt er seine erste Blockbuster-Nebenrolle in dem Film Transformers: The Last Knight, in dem er unter anderem an der Seite von Anthony Hopkins zu sehen war. Im selben Jahr erschien die erste Staffel der HBO-Serie Big Little Lies, hier übernahm er die Figur des Joseph Bachmann. In den Jahren 2017 und 2018 spielte er die Rolle des Darius Tanz in der CBS-Serie Salvation. Anfang 2019 gab er bekannt, in der Star-Trek-Serie Star Trek: Picard, die Anfang 2020 erscheinen soll die Rolle des Christobal „Chris“ Rios zu übernehmen.
