She attended the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts for jazz piano. Throughout high school, Julia performed jazz piano and vocals at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival and French Quarter Festival with the Don Jamison School of Music. She attended Loyola University in New Orleans for Music Industry Studies and Film.
