Od tamtej pory stworzył wiele ciekawych kreacji, jak rola Bobby'ego w głóśnym „Kiedy ucichną działa“ lub Clay Driscoll w „Believe in me“. Ostatnio można go oglądać w filmie Clinta Eastwooda „Changeling“, gdzie zagrał wraz z Angeliną Jolie.

W 2005 roku zebrał bardzo pozytywne recenzje za tytułową rolę w „Hamlecie“ przygotowanym wraz z Commonwealth Shakespeare Company. Można go oglądać także na Broadwayu, np. w “A View from the Bridge“, które zdobyło nagrodę Tony Award. Na uwagę zasługują również jego kreacje w off-Broadwayowskich przedstawieniach, jak choćby hicie “Things You Shouldn’t Say Past Midnight”, czy “The Glory of Living”“, gdzie grał razem z Anną Paquin.
