Item: John George
Language: en
Type of Problem: Incorrect_content
Extra Details: Nothing, whatsoever, is incorrect. I'm posting this report simply to request that the bio I've worked up for Mr. George be locked, as I anticipate it eventually getting tampered with, and errors winding up being introduced, otherwise.
I quite extensively researched Mr. George last year, via available original records (accessible to subscribers on Ancestry.com) that exist, and he, himself, was who indicated his 4' 10" height I've stated in the present TMDb bio. Also he personally signed his name Tufei Filhela. I mention these things as I realize that IMDb inaccurately states that his name was Tufei Filthela and that he was 4' 2". Also I realize that Wikipedia states his name was Tufei Fatella and that he came to the U.S. "around 1911". (The definite exact year was 1912 - in the month of April, to be specific - per Mr. George's own reporting of his immigration arrival details.) I'd hate to see someone eventually come along and change the present bio to reflect what's stated, inaccurately or non-exactly, on other sites. Details I presented are per the ultimate reliable sources: Mr. George himself and official records.
I'll be most appreciative if you'll lock the present bio.

Thanks for your
reportresearch!I locked everything on his person profile except for the alternative name -> because I can't lock that.
What I don't like is the profile image:

Can I remove it? I tried to find a better one, but without success.

Thank you very much, Janar!
I'd personally appreciate the present profile picture remaining posted, although I agree it's not the most ideal shot; at least it's something of John George. He had a very distinctive look, and actually was someone who the public really didn't know by name, but readily recognized by his soulful face and diminutive size. Fans of Silent and early-to-mid 1930s films always spot and recognize him instantly. Because of that, I think it would definitely be good for the present profile picture to remain posted, as when people see his face in listed TMDb credits, they'll immediately realize who John George was.
As far as I can tell, he never had any studio portrait photographs made, so only today appears in posed on-set group pictures that re-enact this or that scene, or in screen-still shots taken from this or that film. What's presently posted of him on TMDb is probably about as good as can be expected (though it would be particularly ideal if there were something good from the 1920s or early-to-mid '30s presented, as that was definitely John George's "heyday" period in films: So many people today especially recognize him from his appearances in the classics Dracula, Bride of Frankenstein, as well as in various Silent big-budget Rex Ingram-directed films).

No problem.
Okay, I'm not really glad about the picture, but we might as well keep it for the reasons you write about. Although, I'll keep this discussion open so that other moderators can object if they want to.

I agree. This image should remain for the reasons given.
Latin American countries, old actors, eventually deceased ...
It will be very difficult to find a good image.
Certainly in my country, Brazil, it is very difficult.
