I believe we finally shut our old image service (d3gtl9l2a4fn1j.cloudfront.net) down this past weekend. I would imagine it's related.
I know XBMC moved over to our new domain back in December, but it seems to me (this is all a little hazy, I don't recall the exact details) but the old URLs are cached in your DB. It seems to me there was a user who shared a script that would update these in your DB but you would have to search the XBMC forums for more information about that.
Same here with the videodb-plugin on my Dreambox.
Error-Message on screen: "No Backdrop dowloaded at TMDb!"
Error-Log: "Error downloading ... videodb_temp_images/backdrop_neINkUMJflLDv9NVXMcenOgYc5p.jpg: DNS lookup failed: address 'd3gtl9l2a4fn1j.cloudfront.net' not found."
EDIT: As I have just read in the appropriate forum, the author of the Dreambox plugin is already working on a workaround.

I have a similar issue with Plex. I've posted in their forums with no reply yet, does anyone know if they have made the necessary adjustments?
Here is what's in the log: Error issuing request to: http://d3gtl9l2a4fn1j.cloudfront.net/t/p/original/nG6njlALcdkDuOU7ROVYAW2cteP.jpg (6, Couldn't resolve host name) (Couldn't resolve host 'd3gtl9l2a4fn1j.cloudfront.net')
