personal movie cataloging with sql?

hello tmdb! im new here and love this site because i have been using its db for both my wd live tv replacing that with xbmc/kodi. i have been using a small spreadsheet file that i basically put in the name of the movie and it automatically finds the movie info from imdb (just tile and year and rating with a link in the movie title). im looking for something similar but that i can insert in a sql and display it on my own local webpage. is tmdb being used in a similar way already?

something i had close to what i need is this program that used thumbgen which converted its generated info into html files but it was a pain to have to regen each file from a movie to add a movie. http://tg2htm.mh667.bplaced.net/#mozTocId416156 but you can see what i mean.

Hi droopie,
There probably is something similar but I'm not sure of one in particular. There are thousands of apps, libraries and tools that use our service but I'm jus not sure of one in particular.
