Before you start adding your content, an important advice: Not all content is allowed on TMDb! Please take a look at the following post that displays the "amateur content guidelines":

https://www.themoviedb.org/talk/5a464fc6c3a36858c5076601#5a46505cc3a3685a6b003360

If your short film does pass all those rules, everything is fine! grinning

Adding your short film works the same way as adding any other movie here on TMDb:

1.) Go to the heavy_plus_sign symbol at the top of any regular TMDb page - it's on the right side, far left to your avatar symbol.
2.) You can chose between "ADD NEW MOVIE" and "ADD NEW TV SHOW" - select the former.
3.) You'll land on this page:

https://www.themoviedb.org/movie/new

4.) The layout is a bit different - but it's very easy to follow the 6 steps to add your short film.
5.) When you're done with all steps, you can add all the additional info immediately on the new created page for the movie (like images, cast&crew etc.).

That's it, basically. smiley_cat

Thank you so much for the reply, but from the rules how can I determine that the movie is amature or not! Cause the movie is not student or school film. Here are the links. Please let me know is it addable or not in TMDB. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt6664272/ https://vimeo.com/217358907 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gx_XC_Yt0UQ http://www.imdb.com/title/tt6664272/videoplayer/vi4059805977

Hello @Monica01,

I'm afraid your short film is not eligible here on TMDb and you shouldn't add it.

As far as I can see, the original video was uploaded to Youtube first in 2014. It says at the end of the guideline:

YouTube content:

Short films, feature length films and series uploaded directly on YouTube (excluding YouTube Red original content) are subject to the amateur content guidelines.
Popular Youtubers do not qualify for an exemption.

Unfortunately, I can't find any other, wider release, and I also can't find any other critical source/review of it anywhere. Which makes it amateur content according to our guidelines, no matter how professional it was produced. If you can provide evidence otherwise, I might decide differently.

However, I'm going to ask the other mods about this, too, and they may weigh in on this decision. It's better to have different opinions about it.

Thank you for the reply! I understand about the fact. I don't have any evidence , but you can google the movie so that you may get any. Because I don't have much knowledge about it. And what kind of evidence I have to provide. But as far as I know it is indie experimental movie.

I watched the short film, did a google search about the film and read about the director AKA$H -> but everything I found was more or less info from the director himself or someone else promoting it/him using the same info from the director. For example, there is an interview with him here

http://ourqueerart.com/salman-aziz-aka-akah/

It's informative, but, unfortunately, that's not enough to be added here to TMDb. What we need is evidence of a wider release or a critical review - both I can't find (another moderator agrees with my decision, by the way).

Okay, I understand. I thought, perhaps, you have more info/evidence about it ...

I'm going to close the topic. closed_lock_with_key
