Did you view the poster at full image size? All posters are (were) uncut in full size in my opinion!
If you mean the thumbnail view -> that's because some of the posters are not cropped to the perfect aspect ratio of 3:2. I tried to crop all of them, but sometimes it's impossible. For example, this poster:
You can't achieve the perfect aspect ratio on this poster because you would cut the text. The poster is still allowed on TMDb -> you can read more about our image rules here:
