HELP: Images That Require Editing

This is a thread for images that require editing that I am not capable of doing. I intend this thread mostly for images that require expanding simple, but not solid/monotone, backgrounds in order to achieve the ideal/accepted aspect ratio(s) without destroying the image. Or maybe images that require text/logos to be removed?
The origin of this thread is this discussion about image editing.
I have since learnt how to expand simple backgrounds. However, I've come across some images that I am not capable of expanding. Hence the creation of this thread.
1) This image can be expanded from the top and uploaded as a title-only poster for the movie, Eating Out: All You Can Eat. (I tried doing this myself, but the edited image I uploaded has since been removed by a moderator).
2) This or this image can be expanded from the sides (and text cropped out) and uploaded as an image backdrop (this is from season 2 of Dream High), however, I don't know how the weird thing happening in the background on the right side can be fixed.

I added more sky to top using Gimp and Resynthesize plugin. I used healing tool to clean seam between old and new part.

I guess if you don't understand the problem, you also probably don't see the problem, and you think the image is fine to upload!
Please upload it! (I would rather you upload it, rather than I upload it from your upload on imgur (cause I think imgur may compress images?).

I wonder if there has since been an ai tool that can be used for this....I dont really know much about ai but I know theres a lot of ai these days to do with art/images.

I know they exist.
Here in my country they took cover images from old LPs, from the 60s, and with AI they added a much larger image.
It was very well done.
But I don't know what tool they used.

Wait, do you mean like AI that create images that are way higher quality than smaller/lower quality images? If that exists that a GAME CHANGER
I was more asking about AI that can expand backgrounds and remove logos/text.

No, it does not INCREASE QUALITY.
It just expands the scenario beyond the confines of the LP cover.

And it does not eliminate or remove logos or texts.

Oh. Im not sure that kind of ai would be useful for posters/backdrops on this site. I wouldn't think so anyway.
