Has the change to 2:3 aspect ratio for posters been a recent change? I have previously uploaded posters for Netflix Originals which have a 2:2.8 ratio. However when I have tried adding a poster to a Netflix Original recently it says it has to be in 2:3 ratio. This means we can't upload the official posters without heavily editing them. - cutting off the sides or adding to the top/bottom (or, heaven forbid, stretching...!)
I know it's only a slight difference but I don't really want to have to edit an official poster/artwork when uploading. Particularly when I used to be able to so long as it was at least 500px wide and 700px tall (from memory).

I could be wrong, but Im pretty sure the ideal aspect ratio has been 2:3 since I first started using the site- for at least two years. For at least that long, it is the site's preference that you should crop posters to fit this aspect ratio (and in some cases there are situations where you can add or expand a poster to fit the aspect ratio without "stretching" it)- but definitely never to stretch and distort the images. It sounds to me like you were unaware of these things, you can read about them here :https://www.themoviedb.org/bible/image/59f7583e9251416e7100006e.
Sometimes however, cropping isnt possible without destroying the poster (and expanding the poster isnt possible either)- cropping may result in cutting text in half for example. In which case it was still acceptable to upload posters with aspect ratios between between 1:1.33 and 1:1.67. All of this information was available in the contribution bible.
However, there have been some changes (in the last few months/weeks?) and now only posters with aspect ratios; 1:1.33, 1:1.41 and 1:1.5 are accepted (the ideal is still 1:1.5 which is the same thing as 2:3). You can read this change here: https://www.themoviedb.org/bible/image/59f7582c9251416e7100005f. So posters of yours that you have uploaded in the past, with aspect ratios 2:2.8 would have been acceptable before (though not the ideal aspect ratio) since it would fall between 1:1.33 and 1:1.67 (2:2.8 is 1:1.4), but now they wont be with the recent change.
EDIT: also, the minimum poster resolution is 500x750px (read here).
