Why are almost none of the recommendations for either movies or TV shows anything I want to see? Are you absolutely sure recommendations are based solely on my favorites and ratings? They just don't seem very relevant at all. Can you tell me if your system is like one of these?

I think the gist of it is your recommendations are also based on content others have rated and added to their favorites. So it has its limits... My TV recommendation are usually pretty good, minus the fact they keep recommending genres I don't watch. I believe Travis said he would improve the whole recommendation system soon-ish.

This page is exactly what I was looking for. Thank you. Perhaps it was difficult for me to find it due to the fact that I use a foreign language version of the site. Well, yes, these recommendations really don't seem very relevant. But we will hope that over time this will change for the better. Good luck everyone!
