The Movie Database Support

Hi,

I was asking myself a few questions about TMDB definition of "amateur content". A lot of experimental films can be seen as "amateur" as they don't get a classic release. Should we exclude them if they don't get selected in a prestigious festival?

Hi,

Should we exclude them if they don't get selected in a prestigious festival?

In our Bible there is a text explaining this question.

Anyway, if you think that one should be deleted for that reason, make a Report.
Only moderators can delete a Movie or TV Show.

Please MAKE A REPORT

Why use Report
We need your request to be stored, connected, in the item in question. (Movie, TV Show, Profile, etc...).
With what was asked, who asked for it and the reasons.
For this to happen, it is necessary to make a Report.

How to make Report
The best way to communicate a problem is:
While on the Movie / TV Show / Person page that has the problem, In the top menu click on Overview and Report
Select one of the 6 options: Duplicate, Bad Image, Incorrect Content, DMCA Takedown Request etc...
In Extra Details enter the Reason and/or any other details such as the data or the URL of the image, duplicate Movie or TV Show etc...
In this way Report automatically stays connected to the page and facilitates the operation of the Moderators.

Only Moderators can Delete Movies, Series (TV Show), Seasons, Episodes, Network, Company, Keyword, Collection, People and Images.

TIP: If you want to force the line break, click Space 2 times and then click Enter. Just Space > Space > Enter.

Thanks for you answer but I think you missed my point. My problem is the lack of clear definition for the expression "amateur films". The Bible gives exceptions to amateur content which can be included, but it never explains what is an "amateur content". Should I understand that in case of doubt, every movie should be treated as "amateur content" and excluded?

The Bible chapter devoted to new content is large.

Here in this conversation we only talk about Amateur Content.
English is not my native language.
I would say yes.
That in case of doubt, not being able to fit into the specifications of new content, consider it to be Amateur Content.
