The TMDB website is not getting loaded on my laptop and iPad. The website I have built is also not receiving any response from the API.
But the TMDB website does open on my mobile. All these devices are connected to the same network. Why is this happening?
Is the API really down or there's some issue on my end?

Hi @dv080499,
No, we are not having any issues that we’re aware or that has otherwise been reported.
Are you getting an error of some kind?

Thank you for your reply. No, I'm not getting any error. The TMDB website doesn't seem to load on my laptop and iPad. Plus the app that I've built using the API, I'm not getting any data back on my laptop and iPad, but that app does seem to work properly on my mobile.
See, the request is made and it stays pending.... ultimately it fails
Take a look at the screen shot

Are you in India by any chance? It seems like the Indian government has started blocking parts of TMDB over the past few days, which would explain it.
They’ve done this on and off for a few years and never with an explanation. Last time this happened we encouraged everyone to file a complaint with their ISP’s and/or the government body responsible for this and it did seem to eventually get sorted. But, here we are again, a few years later, same situation.

Somebody in another thread said that changing name servers to one of either:
Fixed the issue for them in India. If that's the case, it would seem as though it's just a DNS level block, so it can be overcome with non Indian DNS or a VPN.

This explains the issue. Thank you for informing about this. I've been working on my project really hard and wanted to finish it. But because of this issue, I couldn't work on it and felt really bad. But now, at least I've a clue of what might be the reason. I'll try to fix the issue with the solution that you suggested. Thanks for this constant support. Really appreciate it 🙌

Title: Issue Accessing TMDB API from India
Description: Hello everyone,
I'm encountering an issue accessing the TMDB API from India. Whenever I make requests to the API, I consistently receive an "Invalid Request" error. I've tried troubleshooting the problem by changing DNS server Google (8.8.8.8), as well as using a VPN, but unfortunately, none of these solutions have resolved the issue.
After doing some research, I found that other users in India have reported similar problems in the forum. One suggestion was to change the DNS servers, but that hasn't worked for me. Another user mentioned that this could be due to the Indian government blocking parts of TMDB, which may explain the issue.
I'm reaching out to the community to see if anyone else is experiencing similar difficulties and if there are any additional steps I can take to resolve this problem. Any insights or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

@Justin_91 There isn't very much we can do about a 3rd party blocking one of our domains. We’ve tried emailing them in the past but didn’t get anywhere.
