The Movie Database Support

When adding crew (e.g. writers, directors) or guest stars to an episode of a TV show, at the moment you have to type in their name and pick the correct person from the drop-down. Whether or not the person has been involved in previous episodes, you have to go through the same method. If someone has a common name but isn't top of the list, you have to scroll down to find the correct John Smith or whatever. This can be quite repetitive, tedious, and prone to error!

I would like to suggest a couple of possible ways to improve this. Firstly, when adding a person and starting to type their name, sort the list of suggestions so that people who have contributed to other episodes of the same show are at the top of the list. Maybe even highlight these, e.g. "Writer on 15 other episodes of [show name]".

Alternatively or additionally, have a way that you can "copy and paste" (probably not literally, but some kind of web equivalent UX) people from one episode to another, without having to type their name at all. This would be useful for copying people between different shows, too.

Thank you for reading!
