北海道の原野にある、たった15日でロボット免許が取れるというニコニコロボット教習所。設備は豪華で全寮制、おまけに費用は教習所負担で自分専用のロボットが支給されるという致せり尽くせりの施設である。だが、この教習所には別の目的があった。それは、巨大ロボ・ダイナギガを操縦する適応者を集めることだった。休みを利用して免許を取得しに来た遠野ひかりは、その適性を教官の陸奥に見込まれて鍛えられる。そんなある日、謎の巨大ロボが襲来。ひかりは、地下に隠されたダイナギガに乗り込んで戦うことに。
