Discuss Doctor Who

I've added the 6 part reconstruction of Shada under Specials (S00E323 - S00E328). I'm posting here for consensus on whether this is the appropriate way to represent the episodes on TMDB. There have been a few reconstructions of Shada. This is the one listed at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shada_(Doctor_Who)#2021_animated_restoration.

Shada is a Doctor Who story line which was intended for broadcast in January - February 1980 as part of Season 17. Production could not be completed at the time and there were various attempts to reconstruct it afterwards including this animated version released in 2021 and now available for streaming from the BBC.

BBC iPlayer treats these episodes as part of Season 17, and shows the intended broadcast date in 1980 (https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p0gkm4wh). This is the same way as they list animated reconstructions of episodes which were broadcast, subsequently lost, and then given an animated reconstruction. For example The Evil of the Daleks (https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p0ghw6gg).

My preference would be for this episodes to be included in TMDB under Season 17, given that was the original intention and is how the BBC lists it now.

From what I'm learning about the rules, this would not be an original release under Season 17, since it wasn't released. I think that it was finally released as a special? So the earliest release or broadcast is what takes precedent, regardless of it's fit in the timeline.
