In the early 1990s, with the deepening of reform and opening up, the development of the information industry opened a new page. Xiao Wen e Pei Qing Hua são alunos do Instituto de Ciência da Computação da Universidade Yenching. Eles estavam fazendo uma placa de computador para melhorar a capacidade dos computadores de processar texto em chinês.
