Overview
Öt év telt el az első sorozat óta. Songoku már családos ember és van egy négyéves fia is, Songohan. Egy nap különös idegen érkezik, akiről kiderül hogy a neve Raditz és Songoku bátyja. Az is kiderül, hogy Songoku egy Saiyajin (csillagharcos) és Raditz azért jött hogy elpusztítsa a Földet. Songoku végül Sátán segítségével legyőzi Raditz-ot, ám meghal. Közben kiderül hogy még két másik Saiyajin is a Föld felé tart, akik erősebbek mint Raditz. Hőseink felkészülnek a harcra, de a java még csak ezután következik.
