今年縣大賽前的社團內選拔賽開始，與往年一樣所有社員都要參加的比賽。比賽當天午休時，亮一行人吃著必勝豬排餐點，給自己打氣。隨後，亮和松田回教室途中，角落傳來小林學長一行人的對話，而得知學長們的心聲；那是對於亮一行人的目標是前幾名，而感到不滿的對二年級生的壞話。亮對這些話語並不在意，但松田卻沉默了下來……。

Ranking matches for the prefectural tournament are being held again this year. As usual, it's a round robin involving the entire team. During lunch on the day of the matches, the second-years hype themselves up by eating dishes such as tonkatsu for good luck.
