Discuss Homeland

I finished episode one. It looks like a good show for binge-watching. I look forward to discussing the show with the board!!

Hmm, I think the show is overrated and tedious.

Still, I look forward to discussing further.

That's fine. You do that.

That's fine. You do that.

Fine, then; I will.

Sorry. I'm just not looking forward to discussing a series that I enjoy with someone who complained about it.

No, actually I can still weigh in on parts I enjoyed.

Oh good. That's what I like to hear.

Fine!

So is there going to be a sexual relationship developing between Carrie and Brody? They seemed to be flirty with each other at the Veteran's support group. He seems happy to see her more than he is for his own wife in season 1 episodes 4 and 5.

If you want it spoiled.

She becomes way too obsessed with him, in more ways than one. They end up in the cabin together, yeah.

Oh I am so looking forward to this. That's gonna make for some really great drama.

I'm with you. I just started watching as well. I'm on episode 5 now.

I'm probably watching at a slower pace than you are. I just added Showtime. I promised myself last year after I graduated that I would binge watch Homeland because I've wanted to watch it for so long. Just took forever to get started.

How did I miss that it was a vet's support group? She just walked in, but I couldn't tell what it was. For all she knew, it was an AA meeting or something. Had she actually already been to one? She said she went to different locations, but I thought she was just trying to maintain her cover for busting in on him like that.

I love this show. So well written and really great acting. It's good you are watching it in one go instead of waiting every week for a new ep because most times it always leaves you on a cliffhanger. Seasons 1 and 6 (currently on) are my absolute favourite. Wait till you meet Mr Paul Quinn. He is a badass smiley

ENJOY!!!

Oh I still am on the edge of my seat. I just finished season one and what a roller coaster ride! Now I'm wondering how Carrie is gonna prove that Brody was turned. It was a huge mistake for her to sleep with him. But she was off her meds and not thinking straight. I dunno where the story is going after this. Perhaps that electroshock therapy may help her not make foolish mistakes like that again.

I cannot even believe that Brody was actually going to commit a crime like that! Doesn't he realise that Abu is only using Brody as a pawn?

All will fall into place. Expect some shocks, twists and turns. grinning

Yeah she didn't know what he was doing so she basically followed Brody into the meeting to see what it was all about. She bumped into him to get his attention. I think she was hoping that he would follow her outside so that they could talk and she would get him to confide in her. It worked.
