Discuss Grey's Anatomy

Item: Grey's Anatomy

Language: en-US

Type of Problem: Incorrect_content

Extra Details: Asking this as a genuine query and put it against incorrect content as I was not sure where else to put it.

S18E20 has been widely publicised as the 400th episode of the show. See https://www.shondaland.com/inspire/a40108448/greys-anatomy-400th-episode as an example. However, if you add the episodes up on the season listing it comes to 399. Wondering if this is correct and some double episode been merged as they aired back to back. Just seems odd to me considering the 400th milestone. Thanks.

It looks like this is caused by 11x22, a double episode that most other sites appear to count as two episodes. At the time of the season 11 finale, though, it looks like ABC’s website was counting it as a single episode.

Yes but we can't follow the show order here... some nazi blocked the update

All the series here should be listed as they were originally broadcasted.

Yes, and how explain for ABC the S18E20 is the 400th episode, and for this database is the 399... You are wrong and ABC is right ? or do you know the episode count better than them ? this rule is "idiot"... a good database is a database who can follow update.

It's not a case of who is wrong or right. TMDB lists all series as they were originally aired. This is part of their bible and rules which is different to many other database sites. As explained by Troy above, 11x22 aired as a single episode and not a double which causes this. As the originator of this query I consider this topic explained and closed. You personally may not like the answer but the answer is what the answer is and continuing to reopening will not change that.
