Item: QI
Language: en-US
Type of Problem: Incorrect_content
Extra Details: Wrong episode numbering for "Season 18" (aka "Series R"). For some reason the real E13 has been placed as E16 here on themoviedb. This has also "pushed" the real E14-16 to be wrongly numbered. The correct episode numbers should be: "R Animals" E13 "Rogue" E14 "Random" E15 "Rock 'n' Roll" E16
This can be verified on BBC's own QI page:https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m000tq9x

Even if "R Animals" was produced to be episode 13, it was only broadcasted in March 2021 after the other 3 episodes which were broadcasted in January 2021.

No. "R Animals" was broadcast on 2021-01-07, in march they showed a shorter alternative version of the same episode but to quote yourself: "TMDB doesn't support alternate versions."

On January 7, 2021, the episode broadcasted was the XL version of this episode. The regular version of it was only broadcasted in March.
Reminder : The alternate version of this show is the XL version, even if for one or two episodes, their XL version has been broadcasted first.

Either QI XL is an alternative show or the first airing of the episode was on 2021-01-07 and the rules clearly state "Episodes should be added exactly as they first aired on the original network (title, date, order, season). "

"QI XL" is an alternative show that shouldn't be listed, and the episode broadcasted on January 7, 2021 is part of this "QI XL" show and, consequently, shouldn't be listed.
The regular episode of the "QI" show was only broadcasted in March.

The version broadcast in march is a re-edit of the first run of the episode. I don't see how the rules would make an exception here. If we follow your argument that QI XL is a different show (as the network does) than I don't see why it shouldn't be listed.

As already indicated, "QI XL" is an alternate version of the "QI" show. As per our rules, this show shouldn't be listed. Only the episodes of the regular "QI" show should be listed (even in the few cases were the "QI XL" version has been broadcasted first).

Says who? And where do the rules talk about alternative shows I can only find information on alternative episodes?

This was already explained in this 2021 previous content report.
This appears in the rule in the "Not Supported" part of it. I quote : "Alternative versions, including 3D/IMAX, director's cut, extended versions, dubbed versions, remastered versions, commentary (e.g. RiffTrax), fan events and special screenings."

No it wasn't. How is it decided which version is the alternative? According to the rules it should be the first one broadcast that counts. How could the XL version be an extended version of something that hadn't aired yet?
Aditionally the airdate for the episode "All I Want For Christmas Is U" is wrong or the series switched network to the BBC iPlayer, because only the XL version aired that day on BBC2: https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/guide/bbctwo/20231218

Yes, this is the first one. The "QI" show has started before "QI XL". So, the original is the "QI" show, not the "QI XL". In this case, the decision is taken at the show level.
Please, file a separate content report. This is not related to season 18.

Who makes that decision? What if the BBC decides to only air the XL episodes in the future, will the show be declared canceled by TMDB?
I won't, I only stated that to show the absurdity of your interpretation of a too rigid ruleset.
