独立抚养女儿雫（八木优希饰）的鳏夫汐见英治（香取慎吾饰），一个雨天在自己的花店里邂逅了盲女邻居白户美樱（竹内结子饰）开始。到头来发现原来女儿不是英治的亲生女儿，连美樱也只是假装看不见，一切不过是为了接近英治，伺机采取报复的圈套。而幕后黑手就是安西辉夫院长。

善良的英治即使知道真相也不愿意去戳破美樱的谎言，于是两人宁愿在明知对方底细的前提下，依然为了小心翼翼地合乎彼此一捅就破的甜蜜关系采取逃避手段。

Eiji Shiomi est un jeune fleuriste qui élève seul sa fille Shizuku, car sa femme est morte en lui donnant naissance.

Un jour de pluie, Eiji aperçoit une jeune femme aveugle qui attend devant sa boutique que le temps s'améliore. Il l'invite à prendre un verre chez lui, et ils vont vite devenir amis, mais la jeune femme ne semble pas être ce qu'elle prétend...

Shiomi Eiji is forced to become a single father when his girlfriend passes away while giving birth to their daughter, Shizuku. Desolate after the loss of the woman he loved, Eiji has little time or desire to even consider remarrying, working part-time jobs just to make ends meet. One day after opening his flower shop, Eiji comes across a blind woman standing by the door, taking shelter from the rain. When he invites her to come inside the shop, she at first refuses, but later gives in to Eiji's kindness. They become intimate friends and she slowly grows to depend on Eiji's sincerity and good heartedness. After rescuing her a following evening when she walks into the street and is nearly struck by traffic, Eiji himself inexplicably discovers the cold of winter that has saddled his heart all these years slowly melting away...

Shiomi Eiji, é forçado a ser pai solteiro quando sua namorada falece ao dar a luz à pequena Shizuku, o que o deixou desolado e fez com que se fechasse para qualquer outro relacionamento, mas apesar de inconformado pela perda da mulher que tanto amava, ele sabia que a partir daquela hora tinha que seguir em frente para criar a filha recém nascida e então, mesmo sozinho, Eiji, trabalha duro dia e noite para conseguir sustentar a nova família e consegue até mesmo abrir uma pequena floricultura próxima à linha do trem, depois de alguns anos de muito esforço e algumas economias. Em um dia chuvoso, ao abrir sua floricultura de manhã, como fazia todos os dias, Eiji, se depara com uma misteriosa mulher cega na porta de sua loja, que passa a participar cada vez mais na vida dele e da pequena Shizuku, fazendo com que ele redescubra algo que julgava ter perdido há muito tempo atrás.
