Betty llega a la empresa Ecomoda a una entrevista para el cargo de secretaria de presidencia con una hoja de vida brillante, pero se encuentra que hay una candidata con más opción que ella.

Armando decide contratar a patricia y a Betty como secretaria de presidencia y a pesar de que a Betty le dan el cuarto de la bodega como oficina armando le da a Betty las funciones más importantes y a Patricia les relaciones publicas excepto su agenda personal lo que enfurece a Marcela.

Durante el primer desfile para compradores que le toca a Betty, está la embarra al tratar de colaborarle a Armando cuando le entrega una carta de colores solicitada por el, Betty se atraviesa en medio del desfile y se cae del escenario.

Armando le reitera a Betty que la agenda personal no se le puede entregar a nadie. Marcela llega a la oficina para hacerle el reclamo de haber dejado a Patricia fuera de sus asuntos personales, mientras discuten sobre la fidelidad, llega Karina Larson una de las modelos con las que este tuvo una relación. Betty trata de sacarla de la empresa

Betty trata de ocultar la presencia de Karina en Ecomoda, hace que armando se la lleve, pero Patricia la ha visto y va y se lo cuenta a Marcela estas tratan de quitarle la agenda a Betty mientras Armando ha salido llevándose a Karina.

Marcela le pide a Betty que le entregue el puesto a Patricia, sobre todo la agenda. Llega Armando y rompe la carta y pelea con Marcela, le agradece a Betty, lo que hizo y le comunica que ya no necesita periodo de prueba pues en uno de esos días se cumple el periodo de prueba. Mario trata de convencer a Armando de que no se case, le hace un programa en el computador para buscar la mujer ideal.

Marcela le hace un juicio a armando de todo su pasado mujeriego terminando seduciéndolo y perdonándolo y prometiendo no volver a intervenir en sus asuntos de la empresa. Román llama a Betty para confirmarle la invitación a salir. Después de una decisión con su papa logra que este le dé permiso. Betty espera que la recojan a pesar de haber pasado más de una hora.

Betty llora desconsolada pues de nuevo se la hicieron, la dejaron metida. Nicolás furioso le hace el reclamo a Román, este le pega un puño. Hermes, el papá de Betty, llega a hacerle el reclamo por la jugada de Román a Betty, terminan pegándole un puño.

Betty prepara un trabajo en secreto para sorprender a Armando y destacarse en la junta, Patricia oye esta conversación donde Betty le dice esto a la mama. Patricia trama algo. Armando se sienta con Betty para archivar la agenda.

Betty se le enfrenta a Román y lo humilla. Patricia ayudada por Marcela le pregunta los informes a Betty y Patricia los entrega como si fueran de ella, por lo que la felicitan. Armando y Marcela dudan de la necesidad de tener a Betty si Patricia es capaz de tener un trabajo tan eficiente, el cuartel invitan a Betty a almorzar y le cuentan los chismes de la empresa.

Las feas le cuentan a Betty la historia de Ecomoda, sus personajes con los chismes de familia y las rivalidades de Armando y Daniel. Daniel le pide a la junta revisar muy bien la propuesta de Armando por considerarla imposible de cumplir.

Al terminar la junta felicitan a Patricia por el informe, Betty la enfrenta, pero Marcela interviene convence a Betty para que no le diga a Armando que el informe era de ella. Los empleados de Ecomoda le dan una serenata a Roberto de despedida.

Armando le pide a Betty y a Patricia que lo ayuden a elaborar el plan de negocios pero Betty muy hábilmente le dice que como Patricia hizo el informe entonces que haga el proyecto. Esta acepta furiosa y le pide a Mario que si le ayuda. Betty a su vez le pide ayuda a Nicolás para hacer el informe.

Betty y Nicolás trabajan en el proyecto toda la noche. Mario y Patricia preparan una cena y hablan de amor, cuando Patricia intenta ponerlo a trabajar Mario la seduce y amanecen en la cama.

Betty pasa toda la noche haciéndole el trabajo a Armando, pero encuentra a Armando furioso porque ella llega tarde. Patricia y Mario llegan tarde y sin trabajo. Betty no tiene la oportunidad de entregarle el trabajo a Armando. Hermes llega a Ecomoda para hablar con Armando.

Betty, muy asustada, trata de parar a Hermes para que no entre a pelear con Armando; mientras tanto, este furioso reconoce ante Marcela que Betty no le sirve, que va a echarla. Armando despide a Betty sin darle la oportunidad de que ella le entregue el trabajo que hizo para él.

Al despedirse Betty le entrega el informe y este sorprendido y fascinado abraza a Betty, se sienta con Mario a revisarlo. Patricia le cuenta a Marcela la noche maravillosa que paso con Mario y las posibilidades que tiene de casarse

Marcela y Patricia quedan muy frustradas al saber que no echaron a Betty sino que ésta hizo el plan de negocios con el que Armando y Mario están muy contentos. Mario trata de evadir a Patricia.

Daniel advierte a Olarte que de ahora en adelante el se tiene que cuidar de Betty y de cualquier movimiento que ella haga

Betty queda convencida que el amor de su vida es Armando después que Mariana le lee las cartas. Armando les anuncia a todos que Betty se va a encargar de la parte financiera, por encima de Olarte. Patricia busca la alianza con Olarte, para combatir a Betty.

Patricia, para darle celos a Mario hace que Marcela le consiga una cita con su hermano Daniel Valencia, la cual termina siendo un fracaso, por el desprecio de Daniel hacia ella. Aura María invita a Betty a salir con unos amigos.

Betty sale con Aura María y sus amigos a una discoteca, donde tanto Betty como el amigo de Aura María se aburren, pues el tipo está decepcionado porque Betty no es la mujer que esperaba. Betty está aterrada del comportamiento de Aura María con su amigo.

Betty le miente a sus papás. Julia su mamá, queda feliz, convencida de que Betty ha conocido a alguien. Armando le delega a Betty el manejo de las relaciones con el Banco, desautorizando a Olarte

Armando le agradece a Betty todo lo que ella ha hecho por él, y ella lo toma como una declaración de amor. Hay un paso de tiempo de unos meses. Betty interrumpe un hipódromo en el club para hacer que Armando firme un pagaré para el desembolso de un préstamo. Marcela queda escandalizada al ver que Armando no la regaña sino que la felicita por hacer lo que hizo.

A pesar de la furia de Marcela, Armando le pide a Betty que se quede y los acompañe en el almuerzo con los ejecutivos de RAG-TELA, una empresa textil, y de nuevo Betty salva el negocio. Armando la nombra Asistente de Presidencia. Betty llora de la emoción.

Betty le cuenta a sus amigas que Armando la nombró asistente de presidencia y se van a celebrar al baño, pero son interrumpidas por Patricia que las agrede; Estas se defienden y Patricia le cuenta a Marcela. Marcela entra a decirle a Armando lo que paso.

Marcela hace reunir el cuartel y a Gutiérrez, el jefe de personal, para comunicarles que se les haga una amonestación, y un descuento de salario por agresión. Armando que ha oído la versión de Betty, interrumpe la reunión y acusa a Patricia, así como también anuncia el nombramiento de Betty como asistente de presidencia. Betty alarma a Armando con el informe.

Armando, en vista de la situación y el diagnostico de Betty frente a las metas trazadas en el proyecto de Armando, este le pide a Betty que maquille los datos para presentarlos en la junta. Daniel se aparece en Ecomoda y le pide a Olarte que trate de conocer el informe antes de la junta.

Mario seduce a Patricia y la convence para irse con ella esa noche. Armando llega una hora tarde a la casa donde sus papás acaban de llegar de Londres; Marcela no le dirige la palabra. Betty trabaja en el informe con Nicolás y le dice a sus papás que le van a subir el sueldo. Olarte se mete a la oficina de Betty y prende el computador.

Olarte no puede entrar al computador de Betty. Betty y Nicolás trabajan toda la noche con el informe. Olarte y Patricia planean distraer a Betty para que esta no pueda terminar el trabajo para la junta.

Patricia logra bloquear el computador de Betty. Armando le comunica a los de la junta que tienen que esperar a que le arreglen el computador. El técnico le pide a Betty la contraseña para poder sacar la información.

El técnico acusa a Betty delante de la junta, de haber dañado el computador; ella le da las claves al técnico para que le saque la información. Las amigas de Betty le ayudan, y Aura María llama a un amigo especialista en computadoras, y le dice a Betty que el daño puede solucionarse en una hora.

Betty le dice a Armando que el problema del computador tiene solución rápida, este enfrenta el técnico que promete entregarlo en 15 minutos, las feas lo vigilan. Finalmente, Armando les anuncia que el informe ya está listo y no hay que aplazar la junta.

Betty presenta el informe delante de la junta, mientras que el cuartel distrae al técnico y encuentran el informe de los archivos que este le está sacando a Olarte.

El grupo de las feas le entregan a Betty las copias de los archivos que escondió el técnico y esta a su vez se los entrega a Armando. Este le hace un interrogatorio y confiesa lo que paso, pero solo nombra a Olarte como el único culpable salvando a Patricia. Armando interroga a Olarte.

Armando saca a Olarte de Ecomoda pero este no delata a Daniel ni a Patricia. Armando reúne a la familia, les comunica los despidos y las causas y de paso reconfirma a Betty. Las feas sospechan de Patricia igual que Armando y Mario.

Betty insiste que para cumplir las metas de Armando hay que reducir mucho los costos de la calidad de las telas. Sofia le arma un escándalo a su marido al no llevarle completa la plata. Armando le pide a Betty que lo acompañe de hacer el negocio de las telas en la noche.

El cuartel de las feas viste y maquillan a Betty que va a acompañar a Armando a un coctel para un negocio y contrato de telas. Daniel cita a Patricia a su apto y le pide que, a cambio de su silencio, espíe los movimientos de Betty y Armando.

Mientras Betty revisa el contrato con los de RAG-TELA, Armando coquetea con una exreina que se encuentra en el coctel.

Armando tiene que interrumpir su coqueteo con Claudia, cuando entra una llamada de Marcela. Armando recoge a Betty en la calle y la lleva a su casa y de nuevo le pide que permanezca siempre a su lado y que confíe en él.

A Hermes le cuentan que la empresa donde él trabaja se está quebrando y van a despedir a todos los empleados. Miguel llama a Betty a reconfirmar la cita. Armando va con Betty a los bancos para registrar la firma.

Betty le pide a Armando trabajo para Nicolás. Armando le comunica a Hugo y a Marcela que, cuando salga de viaje, Betty se va a quedar al frente de la empresa.

Betty a pesar de haber rechazado la oferta de Miguel recomienda a Armando que los consumos los deben de comprar a ellos pues los precios son los más favorables. Daniel visita a Patricia para que ella le de información de la empresa.

Daniel le pide a Olarte que le ayude a investigar si los de las telas le ofrecieron comisiones a Betty. Nicolás le aconseja a Betty que acepte la oferta de Miguel. Mario sale con Aura Maria.

Olarte confirma las sospechas de Daniel con respecto a RAG-TELA. Armando, Mario y Betty salen para RAG-TELA a firmar el contrato.

Armando y Mario firman el contrato con RAG-TELA. Miguel llama a Betty para que les indique como quiere que les giren la comisión, Olarte llama a Miguel y este le cuenta que todo salió muy bien con Betty, esta conversación la graba Daniel.

Betty sale a almorzar con sus amigas y se imagina lo que haría con la comisión que le ofrecieron en RAG-TELA. Marcela esta en el club con Hugo Lombardi y Patricia cuando recibe una llamada de su hermano Daniel. Betty sueña con lo que diría Armando si ella tuviera mucho dinero.

Betty habla con Armando y Marcela sobre la comisión que le fue ofrecida. Daniel muestra la grabación que hizo a Olarte refiriéndose a la comisión de Betty. Armando discute con Daniel diciendo que lo deje tranquilo, Betty dice que va a renunciar y Armando no la deja, le dice que ella es una mujer excepcional, tanto, que le dice a Mario que piensa poner a Betty como dueña de la nueva empresa.

Armando le sube el sueldo a Betty y llama a RAG-TELA para destapar ese enredo con ella, además exige el 5% como descuento. Llega a Ecomoda Catalina Ángel, quien va a tener el manejo de las relaciones públicas de la nueva colección que se va a lanzar. Mario y Armando le proponen a Betty que diseñe la nueva empresa, la cual tendrá un solo dueño, ella.

Armando le explica a Betty (ocultando un poco la realidad), las condiciones y los motivos por los que necesita crear esa empresa, ella acepta y además le dice que ocupe la oficina de Olarte pero ella le pide que no la separe de é. Betty le cuenta a Nicolás, y éste, muy contento, le pregunta que si puede hacer intervenciones.

Betty le propone a Nicolás que trabaje en la nueva empresa y le presente un nuevo plan de inversión. Varios días después, registran la empresa. Armando y Mario planean cambiar los diseños de Hugo del lanzamiento de la colección, por los mismos diseños pero con las telas de RAG-TELA sin que Hugo se dé cuenta.

Betty y Nicolás hacen la consignación del dinero para la nueva empresa. Hugo da los últimos toques a la coreografía del desfile.

Betty le dice a Nicolás que tiene autorización de Armando para mover el dinero como quieran.

Marcela logra convencer a Hugo para que haga el desfile con las telas de RAG-TELA. El desfile se hace, pero el diseñador europeo invitado le dice a Catalina que los diseños de la colección son buenos pero los materiales no, y que el cree que la colección no funcione.

Cuando el desfile se acaba la cantante Anasol comienza su presentación. Marcela trata que Armando le pida excusas a Hugo, pero este le dice que no. Hugo renuncia y sale de Ecomoda. Don Roberto le advierte a Armando que con esos materiales la situación puede volverse muy difícil. Catalina le pide a Armando que busque a Hugo porque él lo puede desprestigiar públicamente.

Armando se va a buscar a Hugo a un bar. Betty y el cuartel van a una discoteca. Nicolás en otra discoteca, está con Román y sus amigas. Hugo llega al bar y ve a Armando.

Las feas se emborrachan y Sofía descubre a su ex marido con la impulsadora, esta le hace un escándalo. Roman y sus amigos engañan a Nicolás ya que su supuesta pareja se besa con Román y le hace pagar toda la cuenta. Armando convence a Hugo y este le propone una apuesta donde si este pierde debe vestirse de Drag-Queen.

Todo el cuartel se emborracha menos Inesita, la cual llama a Fredy para que le ayude con todas y este saca a Betty cargada. Don Hermes recoge a Betty en la discoteca. Armando le pide a Betty que cite a los ejecutivos para comunicarles que ella se queda encargada de Ecomoda.

Mario invita a Aura María a almorzar antes del viaje. Armando, Marcela y Mario salen para Miami, entonces Betty asume sus funciones y tiene el primer enfrentamiento con Patricia al convertirse en su jefa. Armando llama días después a Betty y esta le pide que venga a Colombia, pues las cosas no están bien

Betty al recibir los informes de ventas le pide a Patricia que reconfirme el regreso para el día siguiente. Betty no le aprueba a Hugo la contratación de modelos para el tallaje y estas se rebelan contra ella. Al llegar Armando y encontrar la situación tan grave, le pide a Betty un préstamo de su empresa para Ecomoda

Nicolás le lleva a Betty la chequera y el sello de la empresa para el préstamo. Mario le hace un desplante a Aura María y esta pretende vengarse. Armando y Mario hacen el cheque de 100 millones de pesos para que Betty lo firme.

Armando y Mario convencen a Betty de que no va a pasar nada con el préstamo, sino que es una medida de prevención, y ella firma el cheque. Aura María se mete a la oficina de Mario y cuando estos se están besando, entra Patricia y los encuentra; se arma el escándalo y Mario echa a Aura María. Daniel también le pide a Patricia que si no va a ser su informante entonces que se marche de Ecomoda.

Armando le autoriza a Hugo dos de las tres modelos para tallaje y ordena buscar una con un aviso en el periódico. Betty intercede por Aura María con Armando y este le ordena a Gutiérrez que la reintegre pero este la chantajea y la invita a salir esa noche para negociar su reintegro.

Fredy, al enterarse que no van a despedir a Aura María, la trata de localizar para prevenirla contra Gutiérrez y le pide el teléfono de su celular y de su casa a Bertha, la secretaria de Gutiérrez. Armando recibe una modelo en la oficina y le pide a Betty discreción. Esta se queda encerrada toda la noche en la oficina. La esposa de Gutiérrez llega a la discoteca y lo saca de allí furiosa.

Fredy llega a la discoteca y deja el reloj como prenda de garantía por la cuenta que dejo sin pagar Gutiérrez. Patricia le pide perdón a Daniel y acepta sus condiciones. Armando, arrepentido de haber dejado a Betty encerrada toda la noche, le da el día libre.

Gutiérrez llega a Ecomoda golpeado, arañado y furioso, y le pide la renuncia a Bertha y a Fredy. El cuartel le pide a Armando ayuda y este enfrenta a Gutiérrez. Mario presenta una nueva estrategia de ventas para salvar la empresa.

Al darse cuenta de la catástrofe económica del reporte de las ventas, Armando le propone a Betty que su empresa embargue a Ecomoda, y, a pesar de los Argumentos de Betty para negarse a hacer esa jugada, Armando la termina por convencer. Marcela llega de Miami y al darse cuenta de la situación se enfurece con Betty; Armando la defiende.

Armando y Mario le piden a Hugo una nueva colección y este acepta pero si es con materiales de primera calidad, y de paso le recuerda a Armando la apuesta que tiene con él de vestirse de Drag-Queen. En el casting que Hugo está haciendo para la modelo de tallaje llega la amante del esposo de Sofía. Esta hace un escándalo pero Hugo la contrata.

Hugo hace contratar a la impulsadora a propósito y por encima de los ruegos de Sofía y de Armando, al que esta le ha pedido el favor. Betty le da la prenda de garantía a Armando por el embargo de Ecomoda.

Marcela le hace el reclamo a Aura María por el escándalo con Mario. Armando le pide a Betty mucha discreción con la transacción y que nadie se entere. Sofía sigue insultando a la impulsadora y esta a su vez se burla de ella.

Armando logra convencer a Marcela para que lo apoye con los problemas de Ecomoda. Los bancos empiezan a acosar con las deudas. Hugo prepara la siguiente colección; Sofía le pide a la impulsadora que hablen.

Daniel se aparece en Ecomoda sorprendiendo a Armando que está reservando la nueva colección, y entra a la oficina de Betty para tratar de sacarle información sobre el fracaso de las ventas. Bertha se coloca el vestido que le copio a Patricia. Mariana le vuelve a leer las cartas a Betty.

El cuartel de las feas le propone a Fredy que seduzca a la impulsadora y la invite a salir para hacerle terminar su relación con Efrain, el ex–esposo de Sofía.

Mario le propone a Armando que le compren los materiales a una empresa que los trae de Panamá. Betty queda muy preocupada por la posibilidad de que sea contactado el proveedor de Panamá. La impulsadora le acepta a Fredy la invitación a salir.

Mario le presenta la cotización del intermediario de Panamá a Armando y a Betty, quien desconfía. Pero Armando se emociona y le pide a Mario que viaje a Panamá sin que nadie se entere. Fredy concreta salir con la impulsadora para la hora del almuerzo.

Hugo le recuerda a Armando que esa noche es la fiesta Drag-Queen. Fredy cambia de restaurante por sugerencia de Yenny, la impulsadora, y el cuartel de feas pierde la plata y la trampa porque Efrain Llega al restaurante y no encuentra a nadie. Sofía se queda con el cheque del sueldo de Yenny y esta va a ponerle la queja a Gutiérrez.

Marcela convence a Sofía para que devuelva el cheque. Armando y Betty logran el préstamo del banco por 2 millones de dólares, pero Betty queda preocupada.

Hugo obliga a Armando a vestirse de Drag-Queen y este llega a la discoteca donde es muy bien recibido. Marcela sale a comer con Patricia y una modelo.

Armando cumple con la apuesta y cuando quiere salir se encuentra encerrado por varios carros y le toca salir a conseguir un taxi vestido de Drag-Queen, mientras que Marcela lo espera acompañada de Daniel, Maria Beatriz y la modelo que tiene que contratar esa misma noche, Armando desesperado le pide a Betty que lo recoja en un taxi.

Betty recoge a Armando y al no poder entrar a Ecomoda por su ropa, Betty lo lleva a su casa y con Julia tratan de ayudarlo. Hermes se levanta y estas esconden a Armando pero a él le timbra el celular.

Betty y Julia logran distraer a Hermes y Armando puede salir para su casa. Patricia le cuenta a Daniel que Mario viajó a importar telas. Armando y Marcela contratan a Patricia Vásquez.

Armando viaja a Panamá. Bertha se pone el vestido que compró en Ecomoda igual al de Patricia, esta se enfurece mientras Hugo y Marcela se ríen. Fredy choca el carro de Armando al estar coqueteando a la impulsadora.

Patricia por orden de Daniel se mete a esculcarle a Betty para buscar los nombres de los proveedores en New York, y Betty los descubre. Betty trata de localizar a Armando para ponerlo al tanto de lo que está pasando.

Betty le cuenta a Armando lo que pasó con Patricia, este llama a hacerle el reclamo a Marcela. Al ver lo que está pasando decide viajar ese mismo día mientras Fredy trata de solucionar lo del carro cuando antes. Cuando Armando llega, Fredy no es capaz de decirle lo del choque.

Armando no se da cuenta del choque del carro por la rabia contra Patricia, ella evade la responsabilidad haciéndose la enferma. Armando cree que el carro se lo chocaron en el garage del apartamento, Fredy se salva.

La Dian captura a los choferes de los camiones. Llega Charlie Zaa y el cuartel se alborota. Armando queda frio al darse cuenta que fueron engañados y que el intermediario desapareció y no pueden recuperar las telas.

Al no poder solucionar el problema con la Dian por contrabando, Armando le pide a Betty que Terramoda embargue a Ecomoda. Armando cita a una reunión a Marcela y a Hugo para informarlos lo que pasó.

Armando le da a Marcela una versión acomodada del engaño del proveedor en Nueva York. Hermes se ofrece para llevar a Armando y a Betty a la notaria para el embargo. Patricia llama a Armando para informarle.

Don Hermes termina haciéndole el reclamo del maltrato de Armando a Betty y este, arrepentido, trata de disimular. Mario trata de sacarle el cuerpo a Patricia con lo del embarazo. Marcela le pide a Armando en nombre de Daniel y ella, que llamen a Roberto y le cuenten lo que está pasando.

Patricia comienza a manipular a todo el mundo por lo del embarazo. Roberto le anuncia a Armando que viene al lanzamiento de la colección, por esto él y Mario quedan muy preocupados. Catalina Ángel rechaza la llamada de Armando.

Daniel queda convencido de que el hijo que espera Patricia es de él. Daniel le pide a Patricia que se vaya del país ya que le consiguió trabajo en New York.

Mario trata de convencer a Patricia de que no tenga el bebé pero ésta le hace un show de víctima, Mario queda preocupado. Armando negocia las telas con Claudia Helena Vásquez. El marido de Bertha le lleva a Ecomoda 5 millones de pesos para que se compre un carro.

Bertha discute con el cuartel las ventajas y desventajas de una liposucción o del carro. Armando y Mario se van a buscar a Catalina para que les ayude en la colección.

Armando y Mario convencen a Catalina que trabaje con ellos. Claudia Helena y su socio aceptan las condiciones de crédito y hacen el negocio.

Betty consigue el préstamo a nombre de su empresa y Armando le pide que continúe el procedimiento de embargo a Ecomoda. La impulsadora le ruega a Hugo que la deje desfilar pero este la rechaza. Bertha aparece en Ecomoda después de la liposucción.

Marcela le anuncia a Armando que el día siguiente llegan sus papás. Armando, preocupado por los acreedores, manda a Betty a buscar el abogado para que ejecute el embargo. Mario y Betty negocian con el abogado.

La impulsadora sale con Fredy para pedirle que le ayude a conseguir que la dejen desfilar. Betty arregla con los abogados el embargo para que sea con carácter preventivo.

Las feas descubren a Patricia haciendo ejercicios en un gimnasio y sospechan del embarazo de ella. El abogado y Nicolás instauran la demanda para el embargo.

Bertha y Sofía se las ingenian para que la empresa obligue a Patricia a hacerse unos exámenes donde esté incluído el de sangre para el embarazo. Pero en el contrato no aparece como asegurada.

Llegan Roberto y Margarita, y están muy preocupado por el fracaso de la colección. Marcela trata de calmarlos. Armando y Betty le piden prudencia al gerente del banco con respecto al embargo.

Daniel asiste a la reunión en casa de Roberto. Freddy le pide a Armando y Hugo que dejen desfilar a Jenny, sin éxito. Bertha llega a casa, donde la espera su marido.

Armando logra evadir la junta que le pide Roberto. Bertha llama al laboratorio haciéndose pasar por Patricia para solicitar un examen de embarazo.

Margarita and Roberto arrive at Ecomoda for the meeting, at the same time as Dr. Sanchez and the notary official arrive to take the inventory at Ecomoda for the seizure.

Armando tells Roberto and Daniel that the men they saw at the company are from the insurance company that will insure Ecomoda. Roberto is satisfied with the balance sheet Betty presented. The lawyers continue taking stock.

Hugo shows the new collection to Roberto and Margarita. Claudia, one of the models, flirts with Armando in person, which Marcela notices. Armando signs the seizure order. Claudia goes into Armando's office and kisses him, which he responds to.

Betty manages to enter Armando's office and hide Claudia when Marcela comes in and searches for her everywhere. Armando questions Betty about Nicolás after overhearing a phone conversation. Betty tells them he knows about him because he works with Terramoda.

Marcela furiously asks Armando to kick Claudia out, but he refuses because she's the main model for the fashion show launch the next day, so Marcela asks him to kick Betty out. Armando suspects that Nicolás is Betty's boyfriend.

Armando asks Betty if she has a boyfriend, but she denies it. Marcela tells Patricia she's going to decapitate Betty. Patricia confronts the barracks, and Marcela intervenes, attacking Betty. Armando asks Bertha if Betty has a boyfriend.

Bertha tells Armando what Mariana said to Betty in the letters, and he becomes even more concerned. Bertha calls the lab and is told the tests will be sent today with the pregnancy tests.

Claudia gets drunk and Armando fires her. Bertha gets Patricia's tests back and they discover, from the results, that her pregnancy is false. She decides to go to the hotel to tell Mario. Armando calls Jenny to replace Claudia.

Mario and Daniel, each on their own, try to negotiate with Patricia to take responsibility for the son without compromising themselves. The ugly women arrive at the hotel, but the doorman prevents them from entering. Fredy arrives with Jenny, surprising the headquarters.

To the ugly girls' surprise, Mario tells Armando to bring Betty and her friends in. The promoter, confused by Sofía, who writes insults in a letter, trips on the catwalk, and Hugo pulls her out.

The parade ends with great success. They get in their car, and Patricia farts on Román. Eventually, the police take them all away. Armando and Betty arrive at a nightclub.

Armando and Betty manage to escape Hermes and Julia and head out to a bar. Betty, very forward, suggests to Armando that they go somewhere quieter, and he takes her to a hotel.

Sofía, through her lawyer, manages to have Efraín arrested. Jenny makes a scene for Sofía and ends up undressing in the hallway in front of everyone. Nicolás arrives at Ecomoda to pick up Betty.

Marcela demands that Gutiérrez replace Aura Maria with Bertha. Rafael, Inesita's husband, appears after 20 years of neglect. Armando apologizes to Betty and admits that what happened was out of jealousy and that he'll make it public after the meeting. Betty doesn't believe him.

Betty gives the real balance sheet to Armando and Mario, who are concerned. Betty tells them she'll give them the doctored balance sheet that night. Catalina suggests Betty go with her to the United States. Marcela complains to Betty about the slap.

Betty cries and asks Catalina to please take her. Daniel shows the Chamber of Commerce papers where Betty's name appears as the owner of Terramoda. She defends herself, and Roberto ends the argument. Patricia asks Nicolás for the money for that same night.

Betty presents the board with the actual balance sheet, along with the letters, and reveals the truth behind Ecomoda. Daniel and Armando confront each other, and Marcela cries. Armando tells them the entire process of setting up Terramoda. Daniel and Marcela panic when they learn that Betty is the owner of Ecomoda.

Betty resigns and returns the company and the car to them. Roberto asks Armando to resign, and he does so, but rejects Daniel's proposal to liquidate the company. Armando goes to look for Betty, and as he is embracing her, Marcela arrives.

Marcela sends Armando back to the conference room. Betty says goodbye to her friends, and Marcela forces her to show her Armando's cards, which she's carrying in her purse. Marcela reads several of them and Mario's letter of instruction.

Roberto tells Armando he never wants to see him again. Catalina calls Betty and tells her she's waiting for her at the airport. Armando calls Betty, but she refuses. Armando decides to go look for Betty.

Marcela shows Margarita the cards and the letter from Armando that Betty confiscated. Marcela and Armando discuss his relationship with Betty.

Patricia is shocked when Marcela tells her that Nicolás is a starving man. Armando goes to pick up Betty, but she's already left for the airport. Betty arrives in Cartagena with Catalina and is fascinated by the sea. A call from Marcela comes in on Catalina's cell phone.

Betty accompanies Catalina to a party with the queens at the fishing club, where she meets Michel, a French friend of Catalina's. Marcela tells Patricia everything, and Bertha's son is born. Meanwhile, Armando soaks away his sorrows in a bar.

Betty declines the invitation to go out that night with Catalina and Michel, preferring to stay alone and explore the hotel. She goes to the ocean and touches it for the first time. Armando drinks alone in a bar, thinking about Betty.

Betty is definitely staying on working with Catalina. Armando insists Julia tell him where Betty is.

Betty continues to tell Catalina about her entire tragedy. Marcela questions Armando about the marriage, and he decides not to reconcile. Roberto and Margarita arrive at Ecomoda and meet with the lawyers and Daniel, concluding that Betty must be present during the proceedings.

Julia tells Betty that they need her the next day at Ecomoda, and she asks her to tell Nicolás to go on her behalf. Catalina and Betty welcome Tais to the hotel and plan to go out with her that evening. Catalina tells Betty to accept a dress from her on loan.

Catalina convinces Betty to wear one of her dresses and tie her hair up, and they go to the English army cocktail party with Chica da Silva, Michel, and Ornela. Betty feels very lonely and disoriented throughout the party. Marcela asks Armando if he fell in love with Betty.

Armando confesses to Marcela that he fell in love with Betty. Tais gives Betty advice on how to overcome her sadness. Catalina and Betty attend the arrival of the Gloria ship, which is welcomed by the President of the Republic.

Betty meets the Gloria Ship. Nicolás Mora arrives at the meeting representing Betty, but everyone rejects his replacement. Patricia attacks him with questions, and Armando begs Nicolás to tell Betty that he needs her. Catalina and Betty arrive at a clothing store to buy clothes.

Nicolás tells Julia about Terramoda and Ecomoda, and the legal trouble Betty is in. Catalina buys Betty some clothes and takes her to the hairdresser, where she only lets him take off her cape. Michel is stunned to see Betty's change.
