Superbook, ook bekend als Animated Parent and Child Theatre, is een anime-televisieserie die aanvankelijk werd geproduceerd door Tatsunoko Productions in Japan in samenwerking met het Christian Broadcasting Network in de Verenigde Staten en meer recentelijk uitsluitend geproduceerd door CBN voor wereldwijde distributie en uitzending.

De serie beschrijft de gebeurtenissen in het Oude en Nieuwe Testament van de Bijbel in zijn reeks van 52 afleveringen. De eerste 26 afleveringen werden uitgezonden van 1 oktober 1981 tot 29 maart 1982. De serie keerde terug als Superbook II met 26 afleveringen die werden uitgezonden van 4 april 1983 tot 26 september 1983. Tussen beide series in de eerste serie bevond zich de begeleidende serie The Vliegend huis. Het Christian Broadcasting Network produceert momenteel een nieuwe Superbook-serie en heeft veertien afleveringen uitgebracht.

The Christian Broadcasting Network is currently producing a new Superbook series and has released fourteen episodes.

uperbuch ist ein vom Christian Broadcasting Network entwickelter und von Tatsunoko Pro produzierter japanischer Anime in zwei Staffeln von 1981 bis 1983 sowie als Neuauflage eine amerikanische Animationsserie des Christian Broadcasting Network, die seit 2011 erscheint.[1] In den Episoden werden verschiedene Bibelgeschichten erzählt, in die die Protagonisten mithilfe des Superbuchs eintauchen.

Súper libro (Superbook) es una serie animada japonesa-estadounidense de 1981, producida y dirigida por los directores Masakazu Higuchi y Kenjiro Yoshida, por las producciones de Tatsunoko Production en Japón y Christian Broadcasting Network en los Estados Unidos.

La serie en es la Biblia y los personajes son los niños llamados Anita (Azusa en japonés, Joy en inglés) y Luis (Sho Azuka en japonés, Christopher en inglés), el doctor Perez, papá de Luis y Tuercas (Zenmaijikake en japonés, Gizmo en inglés), un robot de jugete.

El libro al abrirse de por si solo, les habla primeramente a Anita, Luis y Tuercas sin que el doctor Perez se entere, lo cual solo queda en secreto entre ellos tres el libro los lleva a recorrer el tiempo junto con el juguete de Luis, Tuercas. Al terminar el viaje vuelven al tiempo de ellos, además se encuentran con diferentes personajes biblicos con quienes comparten las aventuras, el momento que acaba la historia de los personajes del super libro (la biblia) los lleva nuevamente al tiempo actual donde ellos viven.

La serie narra los acontecimientos de la Biblia, del Antiguo y Nuevo Testamento en sus 52 episodios. Los primeros 26 episodios salieron al aire el 21 de octubre de 1981 hasta el 29 de marzo de 1982. La serie regresó como Superbook II (Personal Computer Viajes Detectives) con 26 episodios al aire a partir del 4 de abril de 1983 al 26 de septiembre de 1983. Entre ambas series en la primera temporada fue el compañero de la serie La Casa Voladora.

Sho Azuka es un niño que encuentra una Biblia mágica, que le transporta, junto con su amiga Azusa Yamato y su robot de juguete Zenmaijikake, a los eventos bíblicos del Antiguo Testamento.
