In a second seasoner a white dwarf is coming to cause great mayhem ( Google "white dwarf" I know for sure most of ya have no idea). Steed suddenly doesn't remember a person's name and asks what the person's name is. Nobody knew if this was actually in the script or if Macnee forgot for real and ad-libbed the line. In another second season ep he clumsily forgets how to properly rescue Mrs. Gale. This was definitely scripted.

In a last seasoner Tara became a prisoner for life in a resort. At the end she rescues herself ( perhaps only more or less) then Steed immediately shows up. In the original airing version on UK TV the final few seconds of the story had Steed charmingly saying "Too bad you are free. The idea of you a permanent prisoner was a very-- sexy one!" Tara then looks upset and confused but then realizing Steed meant that as a compliment she kinda happies up and follows him off.
