Riley und Maya haben als Achtklässler die Oberhand über die Schule- und einen neuen Lehrer, das ist nicht Rileys Vater. Unterdessen bittet Mrs. Svorski Topanga, die Bäckerei zu übernehmen.

Die Mathews Familie gräbt eine Zeitkapsel aus, die Cory, Topanga und Shawn vor 15 Jahren vergraben haben. Kurzerhand beschließen die Kinder, eine eigene Zeitkapsel zu füllen und zu vergraben.

Eines Abends beschließen Cory und Shawn, mit den Mädchen auszugehen. Doch gerade als sich Maya und Shawn näher kommen, taucht jemand aus der Vergangenheit auf und droht, alles zu ruinieren!

Eine neue Englischlehrerin sorgt mit ihrem Unterrichtsstil für frischen Wind und viel Begeisterung bei den Schülern und Cory. Doch als sie genau dafür gefeuert wird, versuchen die Kids, sie zurückzubekommen.

When Riley comes to the realization that her parents, Cory and Topanga, are making a positive impact in the world, she questions the impact she's making to the world.

After Maya hurts Riley's feelings, the group learns that Riley is overly sensitive because another classmate is making fun of her. Riley's friends encourage her to like herself for who she is.

Riley and Maya meet the Ghost of the Bay Window, a flapper girl from the 1920's who makes people sing and dance!
